Described as “PEI’s own Julia Cameron and Nathalie Goldberg all wrapped up in one,” Kathleen has over a decade of experience teaching, encouraging and inspiring writers.  Appreciated for her expansive, eclectic approach to writing, and her motto: “allow everything,” Kathleen’s classes attract beginning and published authors alike.  Her recent class in Life Writing, developed for the Seniors College in Montague, yielded 1st and 3rd prize wins for creative non-fiction at the Island Literary Awards for student Helena Sullivan. Nice encouragement for a student brave enough to start penning her memoir!
