Women and trans women are invited to join writing coach Kathleen Hamilton for Delta of Venus, an afternoon of writing erotica. In the tradition of Anais Nin, a pioneer in writing sexual experience from a woman’s point of view, and who wrote that “only the united beat of sex and heart together can create ecstasy”, this new writing workshop will guide participants to explore their own language of sex and the senses.
Kathleen Hamilton is the author of Sex After Baby: Why there is None published by Acorn Press. A former journalist, Kathleen is also a multiple award-winning playwright (Shameless Hussies, Blonde Moments), screenwriter and poet. As a teacher, Kathleen inspires and coaches women to write and sometimes perform their own material. Coached by Kathleen, students have won literary and theatrical awards and grants, performed solo material on stage, and become published authors.
The workshop is part of the Sexuality Gender Health Expo. Find out more about other events! https://www.facebook.com/events/239102176243921/
