I’m spending the winter in Moncton, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate. I connected with other writers right away (thanks to Lee Thompson) and am attending a poetry group one Wednesday and a fiction group the next Wednesday. Each small group meets at the cosy home of Kerry-Lee Powell, which happens to be a 20 minute walk from the house where I am house-sitting.
The poetry group is informally dubbed DGAP. We had a reading on January 31st at the Cafe Aberdeen and it was a great evening. We had a good crowd and a good time! To see more pictures, head over to my blog by clicking this link.
